Bocholt, July 12, 2021 – New addition to the Ardap Care family: Since July 1, 2021, Biodor GmbH from Düren has been part of the Bocholt-based family business Ardap Care GmbH, the leading provider of high-quality brands in the areas of pet food and care, pest control, and hygiene. With the acquisition of the company, Ardap Care is investing in the promising future market of microbiological cleaning products.
Since 2018, Ardap Care has been successfully established in the field of microbiological cleaning, primarily for pet households, with the Bactador brand. The acquisition of its former main competitor, Biodor, will significantly expand its product expertise, know-how, and market share in the field of microbiology. With the acquisition, the employees of Biodor GmbH will also come on board.
Product development follows the motto "100% hygiene, 0% odor" and aims to provide efficient and environmentally friendly solutions in all areas of cleaning and care. Compared directly to conventional chemical cleaners, Biodor's 100% natural, microbiological solutions are significantly more effective. The products eliminate the causes of unpleasant odors deep down, ensuring a lasting effect.
"Biodor is a milestone for us. I am firmly convinced that Biodor ideally complements our brand portfolio. With its particularly high-quality and absolutely effective formulations, we see potential for developing ever new customer segments, be it in the consumer business and areas such as camping and sanitary ware, but especially in the B2B sector," says Erich Peters, Managing Director of Ardap Care GmbH.
Biodor, a company primarily established in Germany, currently offers more than 80 products. Professional users include well-known customers from the transportation and sanitation sectors. Parking garages, car washes, kindergartens, and retirement homes also benefit from the products' performance.
"Microbiology is an absolute future trend. With our products, we are not only 'organic' but also 'better,' and we look forward to further developing and marketing the product range together, benefiting from our mutual strengths," adds Eric Peters, who has been managing director of Ardap Care alongside his father since 2018.
