Ardap Care is a leading international company in pet care and nutrition and household hygiene. Founded over 60 years ago, we now offer an extensive range with exclusive brands in over 50 countries.
We intend to continue the strong growth of recent years and invest in innovative products of the highest quality. Our product range includes pet food, pet care, pet hygiene, pest control and household hygiene. We develop products together with leading veterinarians, scientists, specialists and our customers. Our products are manufactured in modern production facilities in Germany.
Milestones in our company history
1958
Foundation of the company by Friedel Quirmbach
1966
Expansion of the existing bakery to include the production of feed from bakery products for the bird farming under the brand Quiko
1984
Erich Peters joins the company as a shareholder of Quiko GmbH
1994
Erich Peters moves from the pharmaceutical company Parke Davis to Quiko GmbH as Sales Manager and at the same time brings in the exclusive sales rights for the brands ARDAP, Vitacombex, Bactazol and Canosept, which are established in the pet segment.
2004
Quiko GmbH acquires the brand and formulations of the "ARDAP" line of pest control products from the pharmaceutical manufacturer Fort Dodge. At the same time, the ARDAP trademark rights are extended to the whole of Europe.
2010
Eric Peters joins the company as sales manager and shareholder
