Bocholt, April 6, 2021 – New horsepower at Ardap Care: Born from a symbiosis of equine expertise and product know-how, the leading animal care specialist is launching a complete product line for horses for the first time. The high-quality range, consisting of 11 items, was specially developed for the well-being of horses. It covers the three core areas of pest control, calming & care, and hygiene for the horse environment.
"Ardap Care stands for decades of expertise and reliability in specialty products for a range of animals, such as dogs, cats, birds, and small animals. Our experience shows that many of our products have been successfully used by riders in the equine environment for many years. In collaboration with equestrian experts, we have now designed a special range for the promising equine market," says Erich Peters, Managing Director of Ardap Care GmbH.
His son Eric Peters, also Managing Director since 2018, adds: "The horse industry is a very interesting, growing market in which we want to establish ourselves with premium products and practical innovations for a well-maintained and hygienic horse environment."
"As a rider, I have known and used Ardap Care products for many years. In developing the Equisept line, I was particularly interested in creating new and practical products, as well as their good and effective performance. The products have been in successful testing at my stable for many months now," says Peter W. Boveleth, show jumper and hunter, expert in the equestrian scene, and one of the founders of the Amateur Show Jumping Club Germany.
In addition to top-selling products specially developed for the horse's environment, such as the fly and vermin spray, Ardap Care sets innovative standards with products like the fly and horsefly medallion. "Simply attached directly to the halter or bridle, it targets the head and neck area, the preferred area for insects," confirms Prof. Dr. med. vet. Norbert Mencke.
Equisept's microbiological products help combat odors. "Equisept's dirt and odor removers are a great solution for caring for and cleaning riding clothing and accessories, improving general hoof hygiene in the stable or horsebox, and preventing rotting. Thanks to their natural, microbiological formula, the products are safe for both horse and rider," adds state-certified farrier Andrea Melcher.
The veterinarian-recommended product range is now available online and in selected equestrian stores.
