Dietary supplementary feed to support joint metabolism in osteoarthritis
A dog is exposed to many challenges and adventures every day that require healthy and functional mobility. Whether it's on a morning walk, playing in the park, agility sports or at dog school, our four-legged friends' bodies are used in a variety of ways.
The dog's musculoskeletal system is a complex interplay of bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. It is of crucial importance for the general health and well-being of your dog. The joints in particular are often exposed to damage, injury and chronic changes.
Prevent joint problems at an early stage
It is important to recognize and treat joint problems in dogs early to relieve pain and prevent irreversible osteoarthritis. A vet can recommend appropriate measures, such as pain medication or physiotherapy.
90% of dogs over the age of 5 suffer from osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is generally regarded as a disease that occurs in older dogs. However, this is a false assumption. This painful joint disease can occur at any age, even in puppies.

The use of dietary supplements such as Canosept Joint Tablets supports your dog's freedom of movement and mobility.
Damaged joint cartilage can no longer be produced or fully repaired.
Treatments then focus on strengthening the joints in order to slow down or halt the progression of joint destruction.
The risk of osteoarthritis in dogs can be increased by the following conditions:
- Body weight in large and heavy breeds (but small breeds can also be affected)
- High loads (e.g. with hunting, companion or service dogs)
- Sporting activities (e.g. agility dogs, canicross, etc.)
- Incorrect diet with a tendency to be overweight (studies assume that every second dog in Germany is overweight)
- Age-related joint changes
- Hereditary joint deformities or cartilage damage (e.g. hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia)
- Breed-related tendencies
- As soon as the joy of movement decreases noticeably
