ARDAP Spot-On Tick and Flea Protection with the active ingredient pyrethrum, also called chrysanthemum, from the chrysanthemum flower is a highly effective remedy for external use on small animals and rodents. Pyrethrum is known for its repellent and thus preventive effect against infestation with harmful insects such as ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis).
The package with 3 ARDAP Spot-On Tick and Flea Protection tubes protects small animals and rodents reliably and long-lasting for up to 12 weeks. The treatment can be repeated if the previously treated small animal is repeatedly exposed to heavy rain or water.
Pyrethrum is obtained as an extract from the chrysanthemum flower, which is largely cultivated and harvested in the Kenyan highlands. The repellent effect on insects has been known for thousands of years: Already in ancient China and Persia, this active ingredient was demonstrably used and was widely known and popular here as "Persian insect powder" or also "Dalmatian insect powder" for use on humans and animals.
The ARDAP Spot-On Tick and Flea Protection contains pyrethrum (pyrethrins) as the only active ingredient, which should not be confused with the synthetically produced active ingredient permethrin (pyrethroids). It is also important to keep your rodent's cage and surroundings clean at all times in order to keep away pesky vermin such as fleas and ticks.
For this purpose, we recommend using the microbiological Bactador Rodent Cage Odour Remover and Cleaner as well as the Bactazol Universal Cleaner for the animal environment with a fresh lemon scent.
Application:
For dripping onto the skin. Part the coat and apply the amount to be administered directly onto the skin in the neck.
Do not use on young animals under 3 months of age. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Animals with skin lesions, especially at the intended application sites, should be excluded from treatment. Temporary itching may occur at the site of application. Occasionally, hair loss or blistering at the site of application has been observed.
The solvent in ARDAP SPOT-ON may attack certain materials such as leather, fabrics, plastics and polished surfaces. The application site should be dried before contact with such materials. In case of hypersensitivity to the solvent, short-term allergic reactions may occur in isolated cases.

Ort aufbewahren. Kühl halten. Inhalt/Behälter der Entsorgung gemäß den örtlichen/nationalen/internationalen
Vorschriften zuführen.
