Ardap Care takes over Biodor GmbH: Strong competence in the future market of microbiological hygiene products
Bocholt, 12.07.2021 - New blood at Ardap Care: Since 01.07.2021, Biodor GmbH from Düren has been part of the Bocholt-based family business Ardap Care GmbH, the leading supplier of high-quality brands in the areas of pet food and care, vermin removal and hygiene. With the purchase of the company, Ardap Care is investing in the promising future market of microbiological cleaning products.
Since 2018, Ardap Care has already been successfully established with the Bactador brand in the field of microbiological cleaning, especially in animal households. Through the acquisition of the previous main competitor Biodor, product competence, know-how and market share in the field of microbiology can now be significantly expanded. With the purchase of the company, the employees of Biodor GmbH also come on board.
The product development follows the motto "100% hygiene, 0% odour" and aims at efficient and environmentally friendly solutions in all areas of cleaning and care. In direct comparison to conventional, chemical cleaners, the 100% natural, microbiological solutions from Biodor are even significantly more efficient. The products eliminate the causes of odour nuisance pore-deep and thus ensure a lasting effect
"Biodor is a milestone for us. I am firmly convinced that Biodor ideally complements our brand world. With the particularly high-quality formulas that are absolutely convincing in their effect, we see potential for opening up more and more new customer segments, be it in the consumer business and areas such as camping and sanitary, but especially also in the B2B sector," says Erich Peters, Managing Director of Ardap Care GmbH.
The Biodor company, which is mainly established in Germany, currently has more than 80 articles in its range. The professional user segment includes well-known customers from the transport and sanitation sectors. Car parks, car washes, kindergartens and retirement homes also benefit from the performance of the products.
"Microbiology is an absolute trend for the future. With our products, we are not only "organic" but also "better" and are looking forward to further developing and marketing the range together and benefiting from the strengths of both sides," adds Eric Peters, who has also been Managing Director of Ardap Care alongside his father since 2018.
