Ardap Care launches new brand "Equisept": Innovative care and hygiene for the horse
Bocholt, 06.04.2021 - New equine strengths at Ardap Care: Created from a symbiosis of equine expertise and product know-how, the leading animal care specialist is launching a complete product range for horses for the first time. The high-quality assortment consisting of 11 articles was developed especially for the well-being of horses. It includes the three core areas of pest control, calming & care and hygiene for the equine environment.
"Ardap Care stands for decades of expertise and reliability around specialist products for a range of animals including dogs, cats, birds and small animals. Our experience shows that many of our products have already been used successfully by riders for many years in the equine environment. In cooperation with equestrian experts, we have now designed a special range for the promising horse market," says Erich Peters, Managing Director of Ardap Care GmbH.
His son Eric Peters, also Managing Director since 2018, adds: "The equine sector is a very interesting, growing market in which we want to establish ourselves with premium products and practical innovations for a well-groomed and hygienic equine environment."
"I have known and used Ardap Care products as a rider for many years. In the joint development of the Equisept line, in addition to the creation of new and practically applicable products, the good and effective effect was particularly important to me. For many months now, the products have been very successfully in test use in my stable," says Peter W. Boveleth, show-jumper and hunt rider, connoisseur of the equestrian scene and one of the founders of the Amateur Jumping Riders' Club Germany.
In addition to top sellers specially developed for the equine environment, such as the fly and vermin spray, Ardap Care sets innovative standards with products such as the fly and horsefly medallion. "Simply attached directly to the halter or snaffle, it has a targeted effect on the head and neck area preferred by the insects," confirms Prof. Dr. med. vet. Norbert Mencke.
Equisept's microbiological products help against odours: "Equisept's dirt and odour removers are a great solution for caring for and cleaning riding clothes and accessories, improving general hoof hygiene in the stable or horsebox and preventing decay processes. Thanks to the natural, microbiological formula, the products are harmless for horse and rider," adds state-certified farrier Andrea Melcher.
The product range, recommended by veterinarians, is now available online and in selected equestrian shops.
